Paul R
I've had a 125 for 2 years now and I'm doing my DAS at the end of the month. I've been offered an Yamaha FJ1200 swap for my TZR125. Anyone had an FJ1200? opinions? i know it's a heavy bike, but I think it's a good deal for my 125 thats only worth about £600. Cheers, Paul. Mike
Have you ridden a 500 yet for your DAS training? If not I would see how you get on with that - no offence at all, but a 125 is no comparison to anything above it.. Once you get to respect anything over a 500 you pretty much handle anything... as long as you keep you right hand in check!
neilp9876
I'd say it would be very big and heavy, especially compared to a TZR. In fact if you have de-restricted the TZR then it will probably be as fast as the FJ. You need to try a few different bikes by doing test rides or borrowing them, the difference between the styles is huge.
Paul R
Well, i'm thinking I'll do the swap anyway and then just sell it if I dont get on with it. it's worth more than my tzr anyway! Paul.
