supralu
Hey guy's, I'm replacing my radiator and I'm flushing the system. Question is which coolant do I buy? I'm looking at 2 different ones on eBay. 1) Toyota red coolant premixed 2)Toyota red coolant concentrate. Not sure which one to get. Could someone shed some light please. Cheers! stevie_b
Either should be fine: one you have to dilute with distilled water (not tap water), the other you can put straight in. The concentrate is usually cheaper on a like-for-like basis. You don't even need to use Toyota stuff at all. Any ethylene glycol -based coolant will be fine. Josh
Halfords' red coolant is the same. It's what I used when I changed my radiator.
Dnk
I can get Coolred from Toyota for less than the Halfords pre mixed Red

stevie_b
Most of the red ones are good for 5 years, even the Comma stuff I bought from my local Autofactors.
Chris Wilson
The actual Toyota workshop manual just specifies any ethylene glycol based anti freeze, not an alcohol based one. You guys waste a fortune with this red stuff.
