Thanks folks , @ sams : surely you'd clear that money for your tt. Funny thing is I remember you made enquiries about my missus car when that was up for sale last year lol . That sold within a couple of weeks so hopefully this will be the same. Looking back I should have sold mine then :(

Thanks Mike . Hopefully it'll shift soon , I know it's not very attractive for a potential customer to come from the uk so i hope the price is competitive enough considering this. I've not advertised it anywhere else and I don't think I will . Would much prefer a club member to buy it and look after it.

i did that was a really nice car. yet my tt came up in manchester and the guy wanted my scoobie too so saved me the hassle of selling my car at the time.

TBH i found it pretty simple to be able to bring a car from ireland to the uk and you can keep the irish number plates at your request

Cheers mate , same car is up for sale here again at 5400 euro lol . Lovely car but it's definitely overpriced these days no matter how clean it is . The Irish number plate thing doesn't seem to be too much of a hassle anyway although I dunno would too many English lads be too happy with Paddy plates :)

Hello, free bump (with a question)

Is it just my eye sight, (it could be my stoneage laptop) or is the gap bigger from the bonnet to the headlight on the right (passenger side) than on the left?

Could you also put up a picture of the dashboard. Im visiting Dublin at the end of Aug, are you in Cork?

Many thanks.

I was just about to say that I was surprised to see this car still available. It's a fantastic buy for someone mate. Hope you got every penny of your asking price as it is certainly worth it. Some really lovely bits on it.

TT next time :)

TT next time assuming I do get my way :) Would have to buy a "real" supra lol . To be fair the buyer was a gent to deal with and it's definitely gone to a good home mate . I can honestly say that I wouldn't have sold it if I felt it was going to anything but . Now what to do with that hoody lol

Alright, let´s see what happens after that post ...

Basically I wanted to start a build up with this car,

doing a Turbo Swap and other tasteful modifications.

I´m not posting these things to hit the seller very hard because I think it wasn´t him who did that.

The car was in a green Flip paint and got the gold respray when Mark bought it.

I´m also absolutely sure that there are few people who know where the car originally came from the UK.

Who ever worked on the car trying to repair something ---> totally failed his job !!!

Well there are several things I found till today.

Instead of doing a build-up this will be stripped down and going straight to the junkyard.

Why are people doing things like that ...

That´s how it looked

and now it´s getting interesting

this is what I noticed when I did the inspection, a completely squeezed sill and a weird looking underneath.

The Veilside Side Skirts were molded on to the body therefore it was impossible to have a deeper look.

I removed the carpet inside and the side skirt ---> look what I´ve found !

See me as an Idiot or take this as a very good example.

I knew there has to be something wrong but that wrong ? Well, ...

The car wasn't crashed in my possession , nor was I informed of anything before I had it. I never had the front wing off to see damage behind it , the side skirts were moulded as said above so it was impossible to see behind those also . If I had thought this was the case I wouldn't have advertised the car on here . The new buyer inspected the car for a 4+ hours . Not sure what else to say to be honest , guess there's a sense of disappointment on a few fronts, shame to see it like that. Can't say I'll log on too much anymore to say anything else about it .
