A gland in his brain continued to produce a growth hormone until well after his usual growth cycle had finished usually 21 for guy 18-20 for women. My brother also had the same and has had to have multiple operations to stop his growth and they warned him that the prolonged use of the gland could shorten his life span. Look at most of the tallest people in the world.
