Si_s Supe
My mate is soon going to be removing his cruise control and it's about the only thing I miss about my old car so I was wandering how straight forward it will (or won't) be? What parts will I need from his car? Will the cruise stalk fit to my wheel? It's in better condition than his. My car is a TT6 facelift, his is TT auto pre facelift-will this cause any issues? Will my car have the cruise loom ready to plug and play? Thanks in advance for any help.
Swampy442
If your car didnt come with cruise then you wont have the loom to make it work.

dive_popo
If your car didnt come with cruise then you wont have the loom to make it work. my car didnt had the cruise in it and it has the loom... 1. check that you have the plug in the engine bay for the cruise control acctuator (circular grey plug on the left) 2. check that you have the plug behind the speedo (on the left side) attached to the metalic bar, it is a quite long and big plug (white) 3. check under your steering wheel that you have a plug for the cruise controller, there should be a long black plastic piece with plugs, with indicators plug, airbag plug (yellow) and there should be one free plug for the controller 4. just put a fuse in the fuse box once installed 5. you wont have the dash indicator that the cruise is on because you'll have to change your entire speedo parts needed : acctuator with the cable, cruise ECU, steering wheel with the controller, and a fuse
