Anyone got ideas how to shut it up i have tried WD40 on the pedal as it goes thought the fire wall from inside the car. Many thanks
Attero
It's the clutch fork. It will need replacing and it's very expensive. Mine has the same, but I cannot justify paying out hundreds just to get rid of a squeak.
Guest matthew14
thanks for that. the squeek isn t a sign is going to fail or anything is it?
Attero
Nah, its just dry joint, a bit like a squeaky spring joint. Greasing would help temporarily but with the way the clutch is in use like it is,it dries up all too quickly. Ive had my car for a year and half with that problem now. Just had to put up with it. That's all.

Homer
Is it coming from inside the cabin or outside?
SupraShaun
The clutch fork is not that expensive, I got one for my V160 from Toyota and it was around £60 ish (I think)
Kirk
It will need replacing Your kidding right With the correct type and amount of grease on the ball the fork locates onto and where the slave pushes against the fork it will stop squeaking for good but its a box out job to do it properly. Bare in mind also the pedal can squeak as well. A quick greasing of the springs usually shuts it up.

And its pretty expensive to get the box out and grease it, you might aswell get a few other stuff done while you are at it.
