David P
This fits into the heater hose and does that job for £20 inc P&P. Alternative stats are available in all temps for a couple of quid from a Motorfactor. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?251314-Oil-thermostat
David P
A response would be civil? Alternatively, you could get one from SRD for £55 plus P&P and maybe plus VAT too?
Guest ugp
Apologies. Can't say I like your tone David, I had not seen your posts until now, I'd actually forgot I put up a post in the wanted section. Please feel free to have a chat with me at Suprapod if you feel the need to question my manners. I'm looking for something that could screw into the bottom of my rad, I'm trying to keep the bay tidy . Ben
David P
13 minutes You can get one of those from a Motorfactor for a couple of quid.
Guest ugp
Yes, 13 minutes. That's the time it took me to reply after I noticed the reply on the homepage, you being the last to post in the wanted section, the title of the thread caught my eye and I remembered I had put a wanted post up. Pot luck really. Please PM me any more sarcy replies. Thanks for the info on the 'stat, and for editing your post
David P
My dongle internet connection is slow and on and off like a tarts draws, so I have to crash in and post when I can, then if I have made any errors I correct them when next possible, my edit was for better grammar. Even though my connection is bad, the site subscribed threads function is automatic and functions perfectly. Please note that using a stat in the bottom of the rad may require slightly cooler parameters than would be used in the top hose.

Guest ugp
subscribed threads function is automatic Unless the individual user turns it off in their control panel. I do believe you get the option when registering as to whether you wish to subscribe automatically to your own threads or not too. At least, when I was coding for Jelsoft Enterprises, this was the case
