Thanks Kevin You should have stayed in York, much nearer to Elvington and a great night out too I may pop down and say hi (I may not as the entry fee for spectators is a lot!!!) as I only live 2 or 3 mins down the road. As for Leeds, there's loads to do. What sort of pubs/bars etc do you like? The 'sky bar' near the station is one of the best, though quite expensive. marc_p
Don't do Leeds that much as it's VERY easy to go somewhere dodgy, although, as Jason said above the sky bar is good, but you do need to go the expensive places IMO as it keeps most of the chavs out. Gatecrasher isn't bad if you want a more 'club' kind of scene(some insanely hot women in there usually aswell .
Ricky49
DV8, Purple door, Cuban Heels, Pitcher and Piano to name a few I havent been to Leeds for a good number of years so some of these might not be there anymore.

Charlotte
There's a few nice bars - Rock Bar, Norman etc down Call Lane. There are tons of nice restaurants, steak house, italian etc depending on what you like. There's also the Howard Marks Tapas bar - Azucar which is in Brewery Wharf - that's great for a drink or food. I personally don't think much of the Sky Bar (it's in Mint Hotel which used to be City Inn) - it was just full of wannabe WAGS. If you're at TOTB I guess you won't be in Leeds to see any of the daylight hours - however there's a new Damien Hirst exhibition in the Leeds Gallery if you're into that kind of thing. Kevin Huntley
Thanks for the info guys thats awesome, I will be sure to check out some of those places tonight. Got a bit of a Dilema now though I was booked into the Mint hotel on Saturday night but it looks like they have screwed the booking up so I am looking for another Hotel now. Do I stay Saturday night in Leeds or should I go to York.....Decisions, Decisions, what do you lot think? Just looking for busy bars with plenty of eye candy. In terms of music, I prefer R&B but mainstream Dance or Pop is OK, don't pay much attention when im smashed anyway lol... Thanks Kevin
