Hi,

Just got my car back from the bodyshop and bought a Stormforce car cover. Only thing is on the instructions it says not to cover a car thats been painted in the last 3 months? Anyone know why this is? I wanted to keep the car fresh as it came from the shop. Bit gutted as I planned to cover it straight away!

Paul.

I was also advised not to cover my supra after its respray. I think it had something to do with trapping moisture which would could get absorbed into the paint. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me.

I was advised the same after I had mine resprayed.. not happy after spending £150 on the cover.. but I will be using it at winter.

They cant get the paint in the booth as hot as factory due to all the carpets and interior plastics inside the car... so the paint be that bit softer.
