Looking to get a custom cat back 3" system over the next month or to quite a few places round the glasgow area who do exhausts, was recommended to use simons custom exhausts

in EK spoke with thwm looking for £350-£400 for exhaust having phoned round a few places seems to be the standard price, anyone used them.

For that money couldn"t you get a 2nd hand good brand system?

Sounds about right for a custom exhaust to be honest. Ask them if they use off the shelf silencers or if they custom make those too. If it's the latter it's a good price, if it isn't I would be worried about them using the same old tat they fit to corsas.

 

Be careful though, the exhaust will be worth buttons on the 2nd hand market. If you want a new exhaust go branded, 2nd hand will be fine, or go with the

Thought about the ones on ebay, but looked pretty straight from cat back, prefer something more routed and shaped don't want to much hanging down as speed hump prob in my area, also want something fairly noiseless and not intrusive when driving, so looking for a 2 silencer system. Saw a Tanabe system for sale on here for a good price something looking like that, but only saved half the money for it just now so will need to let that pass. Will ask about the silencers they use next time I give them a phone, and will give Elite a call see what they say.
