Paul R
I'm 99% sure it was anyway! Popped down the driveway when Iwas reversing the car. It had a little look around then legged it. Cute little thing! We arent used to living in the country, only been there 6 weeks and we've seen all sorts of wild life! Paul.
Chris Wilson
I got rid of one the other day. Vicious little *uggers. Lots of them around this year, if you keep fowl get rid of it They are hard to tell apart from a weasel or a stoat.

Well we were going to get some chickens......but I'm not sure now...seen foxes and all sorts. I googled stoat and weasel and it didnt look like either of them, so I'm assuming it's a pole cat or possibly a ferret that escaped? Paul. spidermonkey
Yeah polecats tend to have a light face with a dark mask around the eyes, ferrets are white (or very lightly coloured)
Paul R
Sounds like it was definately a pole cat then. Never seen one before!
garethr
Well.... ferrets are domesticated polecats and are white, sandy, or polecat coloured (although I think pet ferrets have been bred in some new colours). Joey and Tim definitely weren't polecats, in the same way that a German Shepherd isn't a wolf.
