dr_jekyll
hi do you know the ratio of it ?
AlexM
Wouldn't you be wanting a 1.5 rather than a 2 way Craig?
pedrosixfour
One way all the way lads! Anything else on the track hurts corner entry speeds.
dr_jekyll
one way would be ideal but what have now is not up top scratch so id se this as a step forward., plus my 3.7 drive is a bit long so was hopeing to shorten it a bit
pedrosixfour
The KaaZ wouldn't come with crown wheel and pinion buddy, you'd be fitting yours to it. I honestly think what you'd gain on the exit of a corner you'd have lost already at the entry but don't take my word for it, I'm only going on the little I know of such things. csa
I think it will fit the casing, but the gear ratio would be off I suspect. surely someone on here can confirm
Chris Wilson
The LSD has nothing whatever to do with gear ratios, that's the relationship of the number of teeth on the pinion to the number of teeth on the crown wheel, which remain when you change the stock differential section for the Kaaz or whatever make you choose. There are different size diameter crown wheels in some manual 6 speed axles to auto and N/A ones, which demand the correct LSD centre section, as the crown wheel bolts to this. I have new side bearings and seals for sale if anyone needs them when they buy this. I can also fit it and set up the preloads and contact depth if it sells in the UK. Good luck! The unit you have for sale is for the "small" axle, fitted to automatics and N/A's, not the big one with the "ears" on the diff cover, fitted to early six speed TT's. So if your axle code on the plate under the bonnet starts with a letter "A", this should fit, if it starts with a "B" it won't fit.
