Help please! Electrical? Power steering fail

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem as this- did a search but couldn't see anything. I was driving yesterday and I got a few warning lights on the dash. Trac control etc. Hard to tell as they didn't stay on for long. I have an old carphone still installed and when you turn on the car you hear a filing tone. This sound happens every time I get these lights together with the dangerous part, the power steering fails! I also have a blitz dc2 turbo timer installed and it would activate the timer each time too. Seems like the ignition is turned off but the engine stays on. That was the case untill tonight- driving home 10 min into the drive it happened constantly and at one point the engine did cut out.

It's not safe to drive at the moment- anyone had anything like this??

I figured it out! I was checking the fuses and noticed te battery clamp came loose and was in contact with the positive terminal causing the electrics to play up! Waste of time taking the turbo timer out- but it's all good as it saved a trip to the garage!

Cheers anyway for the views and hopefully it might help someone else some day
