sold TRD strut brace

Fitted with bespoke master cylinder brace to fit either T.T. or N/A and sprayed satin black, comes with original TRD shims.

 

This item has attracted a long list of silly questions, ditherers and dissapearing dibbers.

 

Here are answers to some of the queeries, that TRD were never asked.

 

It has been fitted to my N/A, in which circumstance, it has to go on the other way around to clear the induction so on an N/A the badge is seen upside-down.

 

For N/A installation it is necessary to fit it over the O.E. strut rings or to modify the inlet manifold for clearance.

On a T.T. or N/A-T.T. it is a perfect fit the right way around, the badge reads the correct way up and it hasn't contracted any diseases from being previously fitted to an N/A.

 

I have drilled the brake stopper upgrade for compatibillity with T.T. and N/A installation, or there are a pair of grommets supplied for the holes if you don't want to use it.

 

It has just been resprayed and the finish is perfect except for a flaw on the bottom of one of the mounts.

 

It is a hunk of steel with no moving parts and is as good as new.

It's the only one that actually does what it says on the tin.

 

A spindly, bent and/or double hinged piece of aluminium won't be doing much bracing at all.

 

I shall miss this and the master cylinder brace, but there is not room for it with the supercharger conversion.
