jackso11
I have had new bilsteins fitted all round and since they have been put on when I break I hear a clunk from the front end. Only seems to happen at slow speed and seems to be only if I am turning slightly, then if I am turning left and break the passenger side clunks, turning right the driver side does. Is this a sign of bushes needing to be replaced? or couplings? or is there something wrong with the shocks. Steve
Check the subframe bolts are tight.
Chris Wilson
Ideas: Top wishbone inner through bolts, subframe to bodyshell bolts, wear on sliders if it has J-Spec front calipers. Possibly missing caliper pad anti rattle clips.

jackso11
Dont suppose anyone has a picture with these on so I am checking the right nuts....."Top wishbone inner through bolts, subframe to bodyshell bolts" I checked the calipers, the clips where in the wrong way round (spring clip at the top not the bottom) so when they moved when braking it clunked. Changed them and thought it had all gone away but one side still clunks now and again so something needs tightening.
