Found a mouse nest in the kitchen...

I know we've had mice in the house before - I got a load of them with traps. Now I've found an obvious nest, centered around the main water pipe into the house. I don't know yet whether it's an active nest, but I'm trying to work out whether or not they would have come into the house via the duct pipe that carries the water pipe, and whether that should be capped off somehow. If anyone happens to know, that'd be really handy.

Thanks.

Stuff the duct pipe with plenty of wire wool, they can not chew through that, I have a similar issue a few years ago when I lived next to a field

keep pet snakes... they can smell them and don't come in :)

I wonder if you can get some kind of "Eau de viper" to spray on doorsteps to discourage mice coming in? Hmm.

Anyway, I've put down some poison so we'll know soon enough if the nest is active...

had these in my garden. use a humain trap and let them go!!

or give it to a cat the choice is yours then... get an air rifle and an area they cant escape

How about a saw type thing where you strap a bit of explosive to each of them. The first one to escape the maze gets to live the rest get blown up. Sound fair to me :D
