Shane
Saw the "Torque" app first hand today used in conjunction with a 15quid bluetooth dongle. The car was my son's Subaru, all I can say is wow. What a great bit of kit, amongst other things it will tell you AFR (narrowband using stock o2 sensor), air intake temp, coolant temp, boost, 0-60 timings, 1/4 mile timings, BHP (although this has to be taken with a pinch of salt). It does so much for such a little money. If only we had obd2. http://www.appbrain.com/app/torque-pro-(obd2-car)/org.prowl.torque
Benjy
I've got a Snap~On Blue Point Microscan for sale. It's an OBDII code reader that also allows you to look at engine management live data and clear any DTC's stored. I've only used it 5 or 6 times, upgraded and now have an all singing and dancing one. Only want £150, they're £200 off a snap off man. Sent from my iPhone
johnny g
Hmm. The Syvecs has CAN Hi and Can Lo output, I wonder if that could be wired to a J1962 OBD2 connected to allow iPhone/Android to view ECU data through Torque or Rev? Anyone know? EFI Scan 1.3 able work well to your cars. Your cars is still ODB1 standard. It can compatible with Engine and ABS system." These guys swear their products work on VVTi Supra. First one (which I am interested in) costs about $150, which is pretty good price IMO. I hope I will be able to try it soon enough.
