Samurai 20V
Hi guys.. Installed my braided hoses today, well only the rears, will complete the fronts next week.. I had an issue with the orientation, I installed them as per the stock hoses, but they were fouling the rim.. I turned them around to clear the rim, the left is fine, but the right has quite a sharp turn from the banjo bolt as per pic below.. Is it ok or will the hose get damaged from being like that? Both rear hoses have the same angle on the banjo, so I dont think there is any left or right. Next issue was the clips to keep the end with the union in place. Stock has 2 clips, I could only fit 1 clip on the upper side , seems to be firm, will I have any issues? I borrowed this pic from another thread to illustrate. Supranature
You haven't fitted the front hoses to the back have you? The front ones are longer. Just a thought...

bignum
The union should`t face that way( caliper side), it should face downward similar to the stock hose.

These hoses are slightly longer than stock, so with them orientated like that they are fouling the rim. Is it a big problem orientated the way it is in the pics? bignum
Its not ideal like that, i think you have the hose twisted which is making it spring over toward the wheel, you may need to loosen it off both ends then twist it back so it hangs naturally like the stock hose. Will have to give it a try, hopefully I can flip the banjo over if its twisted..
