Not a patch on a Grifter with a "speak and spell" on the handle bars.

We were quite poor when I was 5.

Grifters were too heavy and for the poor kids ;) We were quite poor too but i was lucky enough to have a dad that didnt live with us (Well i think i was lucky?)

i wanted one of those too and a burner , but my parents made up for it when i was a little older and got me a claude butler vantage lol a little different to blackies "the chick i could of got" but the kickings i took to keep ownership of that bike was crazy one lad even said "just let go of it and it will all stop " lol dont think so dickhead, the neck kick would of been to the face , unfortunatley for him he could of sent me a post card he wound up that long to kick me in the head , I pulled the bike infront of me and he ended up kicking a bike that was lying on the floor to stood up right lol while he limped about and then tried to chase me, i was giving it big licks down the road trying to put a chain back on , do so then did off :D reminds me if i see him when i am down the town when i am home i might just have to remind him of what he did when I was 14 lol

Me too... in blue and yellow, but without the mag wheels unfortunately.

Even to this day I would love a bike with mag wheels!?

I did have cobra grips though.. so it was kinda cool :)

I wanted one of those computer bikes so bad as a kid. One of the neighbours had one. I remember is younger brother has a smaller version of the white one. It was black and red and I'm sure it had wolf or something in the name of it.

i had to make do with a bargain basement bike every few years or so. :(
