Jellybean
My K10 Micra, under steer is comical in the wet and the traction in first and second. I drift the car around cornors!! She has plenty of thread there but I must look at the manufactures date, they may be on the car since new!! 1989 ha ha I wanted to wait till the around October before I get some winter tyres for her; If I put some on now would they function?. Lets face it, its not much of a summer anyway!
Gaz6002
Winter tyres are usually designed to work in temperatures below 7 degrees centigrade... if you use them in summer they'll wear out much quicker.
GlennK
Winter tyres are usually on the market around August/September time - make sure they have 'M+S' stamped on them...and they're much better in the wet too.
dandan
As said, they will work fine but they may be a little noisier and they will wear faster. I love them on cars in the winter though....even if it's just on wet roads as they make a huge difference.

Jellybean
mate what a machine you could only drive that knowing you have the supra all parked up at home Its like driving a Go-Kart, no power steering , radio's tuner is only MH Freq and not tape or CD deck! Another Top speed run last nite , topped out at 89mph, it was very emotional considering she is 1989
