Tyson
I thought all gt4's came with blocks on the spoiler? or is it because its an import?
Swampy442
Well its had the figure 8s done which is an expensive headache, but no mention of a clutch change, Id check that as its an engine out job to replace it. Otherwise looks like a nice car
kill1308
I thought all gt4's came with blocks on the spoiler? or is it because its an import? The blocks on the spoiler were on the WRC edition I believe... along with the other differences below Bonnet spoiler Water injection nozzle in the inlet manifold Intercooler spray bar non-functional pieces for an Anti-Lag setup used on the WRC cars (required for homologation) Edit : looked on another forum and added water injection nozzle in the inlet manifold. Don't quote me on the above though, I don't acutally know for sure, just going on what I've read over the years as I looked at getting one when I was younger. TubbyTwo
The WRC editions also came with either the Toyota Chargecooler unit or in uber rare cases the TTE chargecooler that was slightly bigger, from looking at the pics its got the stock chargecooler unit. one thing to check is the water pump to the chargecooler, its mounted on the gearbox. Usually these are throttle controlled however a few of the cars I looked at a while back had the pumps converted to run all the time, this car wear the bearings out and make the pump whine excessively so one to watch. Its these chargoolers from the ST205s that the MR2 lot nick and stick on their cars one thing to get checked out is the figure of 8 suspension, if it needs replacing your looking at almost £1k. Otherwise looks like a nice car "Absolutely no mechanical issues, the figure of 8's, clutch, cambelt, water pump, exhaust, discs, pads and tyres have all been replaced within the last few thousand miles so there are none of the usual mechanical bills looming around the corner!!" :o)
