Prof. Monkey
Hi guys and gals, got some Advan triple spoke wheels on my MR2, which have a large centre which look like the proper race wheels, there is a circlip that can be taken off but I can not see how the centre should come off! Any ideas??? Please help me!
Jake
If it's the ones I'm thinking of it just unscrews, but the big fake wheel nut is plastic and can seize up sometimes.
Prof. Monkey
Thanks for your reply, the wheel nut is made of soft alloy! Guess it must be seized on?
black cat
hi, i have advan super racing wheels, if ther the same as mine you have to squeeze the clip with a compas or something like and it releases. this only removes the centre covering disk 2" disk though. you should have a big plastic spanner to remove nut. dont use chisel it is very soft alloy!!!!! Prof. Monkey
cheersfor that, you have answered the question perfectly!
letmeshowyou
if ur circlips are still strong tho you will need to take them off first - for some reason they hold the shaft just wide enough to stop the nut coming off completely on mine. once off, the cover comes off and you will see the nuts
