Bc or D2 coilovers? That is the question

Looking to get some new suspension. With my price range of about 700 these seem to top the list with their functions over say the tein superstreetz but I've never used these companies before so have no reference

Has anyone used either, what would u recommend?

Thanks

I have BC on mine. Recently fitted by Whifbitz.

Had Tein lowering springs and KYB shocks previously.

Much softer for day to day use and nice and firm for more spirited stuff.

With a full geo set up the difference was noticeable, in a good way.

These were recommended by Paul as a good budget set up knowing I intend to do track days.

Hope that helps.

Looking at the website they see to only have the ride height adjustment on the springs like the teins..

IDE prefer to leave the spring alone and adjust the length of the strut, like the D2 or the BC ..

Not at all mate. I've got a set on the DC2 and they're dual perch :)

Give them an email. Jerrick is very helpful.

Ah ok, I'll give em a shout :) if they do both they are deff in the frame for purchase..

So they're good on the dc2 I take it?

They're very popular over on itr-dc2.com, plus I certainly like them :D

Jerrick really is one of the most approachable, helpful traders I've ever dealt with. Send him and email for sure (tell him you were referred to him by Ian W from itr-dc2.com - it may make no difference at all, but he does deals occasionally over there so you never know!)

i have d2's on mine and they are good. bit of a firm ride- but only have a mk3 supras stock suspension to compare them too as they came with the car when i got it (mkiv). once had to bring the tail back in on a wet corner and there was minimal body roll and i think it made the difference.

I bought BC coilovers in the end, really good price £560 delivered from a company called corby motorsport.. Nearly £70 cheaper than anywhere else.. Recommended..

That's very cheap for a brand new set of adjustables :) Any feedback on road use with them?

I've only done a few hundred miles but they seem very good for the price, they are good quality and fit just lovely.. I have them a little bit low at the moment (as they came out of the box) and need to lift, but have hurt hand so will have to wait.. But even low they are comfortable and feel much nicer than the bilsteins and eibach springs I had, the steering is more precise with less body roll, all in all a bargain.. :)

They do deals for forums also from reading their site, may be worth someone getting in touch about discounts etc..
