zach42o1
so i bent the HECK outta my rim last week but didnt notice it until the other day when i had it on a lift. would that cause a sound like there is a flat spot on the tire when i drive it starts out with a thump sound coming from that corner of the car. and just gets faster as the the speed increases. Chris Wilson
Best of luck, unless it's a well known brand, very recent and a common size, you have little chance of buying a single replacement. I'd trust a proper repair and X ray done to a forged alloy rim, but not to a cast alloy one.

Chris Wilson
Forged rims are usually marked as such, are usually lighter than a similarly sized cast rim, with more delicate form due to superior materials. They usually bend and deform on impact, rather than crack or shatter, or for the centres to come away from the rim sections, in an accident. I am sure if someone posted a photo one of the rim experts would know at a glance who its maker was, and what its model name was, and we could then check out its construction. Chris Wilson
I tride.... Sometimes there's a label on the inside of the inner rim that can be CAREFULLY cleaned and made legible. The problem is there are literally thousands of different rims, unless it's a common or garden one you will struggle to ID it, let alone replace it.
