Blue Smoke after Idling

Hey guys,

i got this problem since a longer time and i think i know what it is but i want to ask you guys.

After idling for a while i get puff puff blue smoke out of the exhaust ... a cloud that smells like burned oil ... my oil consumption is to high, >1 Litre for 1000 Kilometers.

The first turbo spools louder then the year before, i think its done right ?

If its smoking while idleing its turbo seal. If you see the blue puff when dapping the accelerator its Valve Stem Seals.

Turbo seals = Turbo rebuild, VSV = time consuming engine work. Lots of info on both here on forum

Thanks!

Its just when i dapping the gas after a few moments idling!

Does it smoke when you start it up? Blue smoke at startup defo VSS. If it is only when dapping it could be turbo seals as Swampy says, but then it should also smoke on boost while driving, but that can be hard to see. Get someone to drive behind you and check for blue smoke (not black, thats just fueling)
