pezzler
Has anyone ever bought an interior (behind dash) harness? The wiring behind my dash has taken a pummelling over the years with crappy neon speedo dials, and cheapo convertors being fitted by cheapo "technicians". Just wanted to finally get it all cleaned up Anyone have any ideas on part numbers/prices or if they're even available?
Nic
I fitted new engine/ECU harnesses, they are very expensive.

pezzler
£500 from Toyota. EEEKK... Thats just for the harness thats behind the dash!? Might give Keron a tinkle then, just wanted to renew the whole lot because it is seriously in a complete state, it all works but just a mess...... not £500's worth of a mess though Nic, I did look at replacing the engine harness too. Saw them on MVP for a reasonable(ish) price; I think its worth doing if you can afford to, these 18 year old looms are a complete pain in the balls if you ever need to disconnect anything - 75% of the time, whatever I disconnect falls apart in my hands. Thanks for the replies
Chris Wilson
How much were MVP selling the engine harness for, and can they also supply J-Spec ones? Thanks.
pezzler
http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/frmTemplateM7.asp?SubFolderID=319&SearchYN=N Works out at about £750 (pre-facelift 6-speed)..... not cheap, but considering the dash harness is around the £500 mark its not too bad Dont know how that compares with Toyota UK prices
