Swampy442
The Aristo I have has all sorts of wild claims as to engine specs, so far Ive debunked the HKS cams, the next one is the forged bottom end. The bottom end has been apart as theres sealant oozing out of all the joins of the sump, maybe for an oil pump change? Everything looks stock so far, rods, caps, bolts, but I cant find pics of the underside of a stock piston. Has anyone got a few pics please? Chris Wilson
The stock TT pistons are easily recognisable by the two holes for the oil shaker hollow section inside the crown of the piston. I know of no aftermarket pistons that have the hollow crown and the oil entry and egress holes.
Swampy442
OK thanks Chris, there were definately holes in the base of the piston, so Im guessing thats that one answered too
