JohnA Posted September 25, 2005 Share Posted September 25, 2005 I think you should first verify that your fuelling system is indeed flowing as much as it should. 1. Run a bottle of STP "total system cleaner" (silver bottle). It can do wonders. 2. change fuel filter if you haven't already done so. 3. slick Posted September 25, 2005 Author Share Posted September 25, 2005 Very true John, fuel filter is getting changed in the next few weeks as its going in for service and they can do it up on the ramps as I don't fancy cross threading a fuel line on my back struggling to get to it properly. I checked the service records and last time it was due it wasn't changed due to 'low milage', which is fair enough but not when your pushing things well into the comfort zone as we are at higher boost. I've also run the STP total cleaner through the other month, before I realised the fuel filter hadn't been done. Once the filters done I'll shove another bottle through though for sure.
