welshbuddy
seems reasonable to me except the brake hose you can get a set of 4 £120 ish he said to me that the brake hoses he had to get straight from the toyota dealer - due to him having bought 2 sets which didnt fit :S, and for some reason my registration number was coming up with my car being a twin turbo.? Guigsy
How? The bill is only for around £350 ish? + vat?
welshbuddy
vat excl., 20%
Havard
+ vat? vat excl., 20% That still didn't add up but I realised they don't charge VAT on MOTs. Seems quite steep to me but I suppose that is the going rate for garages these days. H.
Chris Wilson
Looks very reasonable to me, if they fitted OE Toyota brake hoses the price is the price, nothing else looks excessive at all. I'll swap you for this one if you like ?
welshbuddy
urm your ok chris , ill stick with mine , that was my first MOT with the supra, coming from a saxo which is dirt cheap ! i dont mind paying out for the supra!
Awisto
An MOT station that charges full price for an MOT, not many of them about.

gjp
This is the reason I by the parts myself and anthing I'm not sure of fitting myself I get my mate to help me do in his garage.
Awisto
You had your own tyres fitted as well looking at the bill? How many? Pad prices look a bit much, unless Toyota ones? Apart from that it's all very reasonable, especially the labour.
welshbuddy
yeh i had 4 falken 452's fitted, which i bought offline, so... yehp there toyota pads, think labour they charge 35 quid an hour, not too sure.
Awisto
yeh i had 4 falken 452's fitted, which i bought offline, so... Most garages will charge £10-£15 per tyre to fit when the customer has supplied the tyre, so, your bill is looking better and better. I'd say it was cheap and not steep. snake
if you phone Toyota for their hourly rate you will feel much better about your very reasonable bill.
jonc
I have to say thats quite reasonable to be honest. Most garages charge 40-60 for an hours labour (Main dealers a lot more!) and it looks like the parts that have been fitted are good quality. I have seen MOT's a bit cheaper but it a standard price at a lot of garages and their labour charge included fitting your tyres so all in all they have been very fair. Welcome to the world of owning a Sup
Blackie
Thats mad, I got a set of pads today for the rear for £
Abz
That is very cheap labour! And as mentioned normally garages charge £10 a corner to fit your own tyres. You done well
