TubbyTwo
Cruise around on the water. Obviously you would have to select a crew beforehand so Timing would be key.

tbourner
Where are you going to go with the battleship? Everyone is a zombie! Well then what's the point in anything? Might as well let the Zs eat you to death if that's your attitude!!
nevins
Long term, fuel dumps no law any more so finders keepers lol. Its all about the thinking, like stated you need to keep on the move, with this you can and also get through blockages, make bridges mow down Z's and so on. Im sure a taker could be hitched up too. TubbyTwo
Im sticking by my battleship plan. Either that or I will by up sea land off the coast of felistowe and live there. I stand by my assumption that I have never seen a water based zombie.

tbourner
Water can be dodgy though as zombies don't drown, so if you go in a river or something there could be countless zombies on the bottom that you can't see, and they'll eat your legs and stuff. Not sure if they could swim though so the open ocean may be fine. I guess a dead body would float so maybe they'll learn to thrash towards you like some demented doggy paddle. Abz
With regards to the drowning question if they are a zombie then as tbourner said they can't drown. http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/thread/1529506/can+zombies+drown+%3F The website above could be vital to our survival, we need to create a database. Planning is key...
RedM
You wouldnt want to be using a samarui sword indoors because you couldnt swing it. If you know how to use one properly then you'll be able to use it indoors. Come to think of it you'd be able to use one in a fairly spacious toilet cubicle. Rob
I have a place in mind.... but i cant tell you lot, Exactamundo!!! There's no point in having the worlds best zombie proof house, because when the outbreak comes, you are going to have to defend your house not from zombies but from humans trying to get in to save themselves. Humans in a blind panic! They will destroy that house, particularly the shutter, to get inside it rendering all its protection useless. Being at sea is definitely the best option, in a modified sail boat with PV cells and some sort of saline plant. Fish and seabirds would be your diet with occasional jaunts ashore for veg, although you can grow cress onboard. Finding one of the many uninhabited pacific islands to hole up on would be a long term plan, and you can make your boat in secrecy as it will look like any other boat.
