gjp
Put each side on but not to tight, fit the blade then tighten the ends up.
damadom
Will I be ok fitting it without putting anything to stop the paint rubbing like the normal spoiler has that rubber stuff?
drift_bear
did you buy the spoiler 2nd hand? did it come with anything else or just the 3 parts and nothing else?

comorin219
Will I be ok fitting it without putting anything to stop the paint rubbing like the normal spoiler has that rubber stuff? if you have nt got the foam/rubber seals it would be advisable to put a neat bead of clear silicon around the base about 5-10mm from the edge or your boot lid will take in water,if you let the silicon cure before fitting it will make a cleaner job
wile e coyote
You def need some sort of foam silicon for ends to sit on else as previously will fill boot with water. I used original bolts and fitted loosly then fitted blade and did up hand tight then about 1 full turn and checked after couple weeks and dun up a bit more. make sure you fit blade right way up to give downforce and not lift like a wing lol
damadom
Well I've got the clear sealant but the standard Boyle are to small in diameter do you what width I'd need?
comorin219
my original bolts fitted my AM spoiler, guess its going to be trial & error try some other bolts by hand (just in case thread pitch is wrong) its probably the next size up from your original
Jellybean
14 mm on mine; install the two posts first with either the center Blade loosened or taken off; then once the pillers are in, tighten up the center blade! I dont have any water ingress but if you want I would put some silicone around the holes on the inside of the boot or a rubber washer! I also run a square washer on the inside for the nut to have a resonable flat surface for it to press against; inside the boot lid is a concave shape
