BOB B
I bought some second hand OEM 17" with winter tyres on a while back, spent quite a while preparing them, then somehow ended up with a choice of two colours, it was going to be the lighter Gray then I did one in the dark Gray now I can not chose between them. So which is your choice out of the two, its going to be one or the other. Thanks. Edited July 25, 2011 by BOB B (see edit history)
d-_-b
Ooo tough, they both look good. Think the darker gives that slightly "meaner, stealthy" look, near to the whole black on black thing : D
SupraDan24
The Darker colour is better IMO.

Josh
Darker on a black car. Any other colour though and I'd say lighter.

pedrosixfour
I think I'd go with the lighter. I think it gives a bit of class to the overall look of the car and it makes the wheels look tidier and it'll also make them look bigger.
Bailey.
I choose grey, I have a black car and had black oem 17s, they look good, but think a colour like grey or silver stands put against the body.
jim
Offsets are way out Bob, you're going to need some arch work I think the lighter colour.
nevins
Darker as it looks nicer than the lighter as to me it just looks like the grey is a dirty black alloy
Bailey.
This is the only pic of mine with both the old black, and the new graphite wheels fitted together.

Si_s Supe
Arghh!! This really makes me regret selling my OE 17's now. They look cracking painted up!!
AlexM
Both look good, but the lighter colour would be my preference.
ripped_fear
can I be a pain and say my choice would be, a tad darker than the light one, but lighter than the dark ones but out of the two you have its down to what you want out of the car, I think the dark ones make it look very stealthy but the light ones are a bit more of eye catching due to the way they catch the light. BOB B
Offsets are way out Bob, you're going to need some arch work I think the lighter colour. Tin snips and rough file coming out later, though I'm worried that the super glue will not hold the OEMs onto my 18" may be big bolts through might work. Well so far it's 6 light, 4 dark, I'll give it the rest of the day then go back to "hulfarts" and get the "chosen" paint, though I bet they won't have any of that one left. Samurai 20V
Lighter... I was never a fan of black wheels, looks like somebody stole the wheelcaps of some steel rims....
