hogmaw
I will find out in the next week or so. Driving into the village at 9am (not in the Supra) and a car approaching me flashes his lights. I naturally slow down, and in front parked up I see a police van, when I get closer I see it's one of those mobile camera vans. I was probably doing 35+ mph when the guy flashed me. So now I have to wait and see if I get a NIP in the post. The irony is that in the Supra I often do a lot worse than going 35 in a 30 zone, so to get nicked for that is like a major drugs dealer getting done for not paying his council tax. So if I end up going to one of those 'speed awareness courses' I'll be like "if only you knew what I really get up to" Anyway I will just wait and see what happens. Stephendjb
If your speedo was reading 35 it's highly unlikely
Ibrar Jabbar
Yeh that, as they work on your average speed.

He ended up going mad as a result of his syphilis and and died a nutter. .................It's a slippery slope:no:
stinboy
Are you a criminal? Yes, yes you are. They'll probably throw away the key. Remember, if you drop the soap in the shower DON'T go to pick it up So long as there was space to slow down a bit I reckon you should be ok
hogmaw
Even if I do get 3 points or whatever I have a clean licence now, so no biggie. Even so fingers crossed eh
Thorin
Yeh that, as they work on your average speed. They don't. Manually operated camera in the back of the van, when the operator sees a car he thinks is speeding, pulls a trigger and fires a laser to determine the car's speed at that instant. I'd say you'll be fine.
David P
Contrary to public information, easy earner speeding nicks remain popular with the Old Bill, however, poor driving practises remain ignored. We have become a statistic twisted society.

marbleapple
Even if you are fined or not, you were breaking the law... in short you are a criminal. Go to Jail and don't collect £
tooley
If your speedo was reading 35 it's highly unlikely wrong i ended up on a speed awareness course for 54 in a 50 and that was the east lancs which is akin to a 3 lane dual carriage way
