seba
Car has been standing for allmost a year so i wasn't surprised the brakes didn't work now. So i changed the front ones as they were seized. I left the rearones as they were as i thought i would at least have the front ones working now to move the car a couple of roads to get it to the workshop. But nothing. So i started bleeding the front ones again to be sure there was no air in there, no luck after that either. Than the passengersside rear one, i did have the feeling there was some air in there as i had to push the brake pedal a couple of times before the fluid came out. But still nothing. When i push the brakepedal i can go to the bottom without any resistance. But when i push the brakepedal a couple of times faster i do get more resistance untill i almost cant push it even 2cm. But then if i leave it unpushed for 10 seconds and i try pushing it down it's again without resistance to the floor. Now could it be that it's just the driversside rearbrake that has some air in it? It's the only one i didn't check yet as i couldn't reach it today. And i know the bleeding has to be done in another order, furthest one first and blablabla but i didn't think there could be air in the rearlines so i only did the fronts. Passengersside brake came lose, didn't check the driversside yet. Brakefluid is topped up. Someone of you surely knows what the problem is. I'm only worried that it would be the master brakecillinder but could that be as i do get the brakes to work if i push the pedal more times. Paul Whiffin
Have you checked to see if the rears calipers are seized?
