Guest foxy-stoat
Looking for a change and getting into a Supra, so seeing if anyone here is up for a little MR2: J reg rev2 - t-bar import with: 3VZFE 3.0 ltr v6 engine from a Camry steering fogs rev 3 rear lights with centre panel including reversing lights CAT 1 alarm with certificate Short shifter Sony cd player Infinity 6x9's behind the seats with infinity seperates 110K miles on the clock, converted by Woodsport about 4-5 years ago Has an oil catch can fitted with some blue hoses New recent Toyota HT leads New recent spark plugs The heads where ported, have the flow sheets and photos of the work Mongoose backbox on standard camry down pipes, new flexi hoses have been fitted and I have heat wrapped the downpipes New front top mounts with New front inserts, painted the struts yellow Front and rear suspension arms have been poly bushed and painted silver New drop links all round New ball joints all round Tyres are Yokohamas all round with good tread Half leather seats MOT TILL MAY 2012 Has been changed on the V5 to the correct engine details, something that you can not do now without an engineers report if you want to DIY this engine conversion. Insurance is around the same as a turbo. Pulls very well and sounds excellant. Paint work looks good, but dont assume there are no scratches or dents. Currently sorn'd but looking to re-insure and tax it at the end of the month as it needs a 4 wheel lazer alinement doing following the new suspension and poly bushes and I cant drive it on the road while its sorn'd, and it doesnt make for legal test drives! Replaced the rear rocket cover gasket the other week and just got to fit the front one. It wont be any cheaper once I tax it, but willing to look at close offers as it is. I have another rev3 n/a gearbox with extended ratios, red turbo engine lid and boxes of spares I will be selling seperately to the new owner also, if they want. If anyone wants to know what these sounds like, this is my first MR2v6 I had a few years ago: This was standard and made 189hp at the fly and 156hp at the wheels without any head work, no idea what this one would make, I assume that flowing the heads must add something so shouldnt be far off 200hp but its all about the torque:
