An electronic stepper motor controls the needle making the gauges very stable, extremely accurate, and capable of many powerful features. Additionally, a ‘Live unit’ contains the control electronics for each of the gauges and can be tucked away behind the dash board. A live unit is required to power all the gauges and can operate up to 3 gauges. Each gauge is therefore very thin (24mm deep) and easy to mount. Extra features include record and replay functions (99 seconds memory with 3 replay speeds), a peak hold function, and a programmable boost warning light (boost gauge only).
