barneybrendan
I want to take the kids for the switch on of the lights next year.Ideally would like to be on the prom so they can look out the window and see everything.Would need parking and not too pricey. There will be 3 adults and 3 kids.If anybody has any ideas of places to stay i would appreciate it. Ricky49
You would be more up market if you built your own sand castle to stay in. I know there is a travel lodge one road back from the seafront and next to the pleasure beach, I paid £18 prpn and that was booking it 2wks before going and I is not that old. ellis
I always stay at the Strawberry Fields Hotel on Palatine Road - very cheap and a great couple that run it. Not on the seafront but only 10 mins walk.
bobapple
Big blue hotel part if the pleasure beach. Not sure on price but heard the rooms are well equipped and near enough On the sea front or their is the Hilton or Claremont that are closer to town center also on sea front. Best checking them online if you see one you think is suitable pop the name up I can get some one to check it out my parents live there and I have many mates there.
