rwdwiganer
I have found a company supplying the turbo I want http://realstreetperformance.com/store/61mm-garrett-gtx35r-gtx3582r-gtx3582-billet-ball-bearing-turbo-2010.html but i'm unsure which turbine housing will suit the 2JZ best, or if it is pretty irrelevant and won't make much difference? I have been told to go for a .82 housing to achieve what i'm looking for. I haven't yet bought my manifold, but will be running a 4inch downpipe and exhaust system, but would it be better going for a T3 4-bolt, T3 3" v-band or T4 3" v-band or will it really make no difference what so ever?! Sorry, I have a bit of learning to do when it comes to turbos in general!
j.oe
Best advice: Go for a brand new Borg Warner EFR8374 .92 A/R T4 divided w. int. wastegate and buy a true twin-scroll-T4-header without wastegate outlet. Spools more than 500 rpm sooner than a 3582, makes smoother transition and more top end. That's what i ordered yesterday from US. rwdwiganer
I have had a look into this, think I will still be going for a GT35r but unsure which a/r to go for and if T3 or T4 fitment? As I'm looking for over 500bhp am I right T4 is the only way? I have been told to go for a 0.8 or 1.06 a/r but can anyone please give me any advice on this? Scott
You want a t4. Vband is the best option to future proof it. I would go with the1.06 housing as the tubby spools silly quick. The gtx tubbys are fantastic btw. You will crack 600 no bother should you want to.

Sorry, I have a bit of learning to do when it comes to turbos in general! Most off the shelf single turbo manifolds use a T4 flange (I don't know of any that use T3). I would go with a .82 AR T4 inlet/3" V-band outlet, I use to run the same turbine housing on my GT35R, more details in my Garage HERE I would also buy from a registered Garrett dealer to make sure you get genuine Garrett parts, I can recommend the company below. http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=GRT-TBO-102&Category_Code=GTX See below for turbine housing options. http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=GRT-TBO-006&Category_Code=GRT
