Paul R
Hi, I'm looking for some good push bike lights. I've seen ones for 2 quid on ebay, ranging to 300 quid! Which is a good set to get? I want something very bright as I will have to ride in the pitch black. The rechargable ones appeal to me. Thanks!
MaveriK
Have a look at the cat eye range
Paul R
Funily enough, I ust ordered some cat eye lights :-) Things have changed a bit. When I was a kid you could only get those crappy lights that flickered and went flat after an hour! haha. now you can basically get something that resembles car headlights! Paul. Eddie-S
depends what you want them for, are you commuting? riding off road? etc. Have a look on http://www.chainreactioncycles.com or http://www.wiggle.co.uk full range with, in my opinion, Hope and exposure being of the best quality but not cheap, SMART cheap but plenty powerful for commuting and gentle off road
Paul R
This will be for riding through a park, on B roads and the odd main road(in pitch black). I went for the Cat Eye EL600. looks like it will be good enough. Cheers, Paul.

Same boat as you, have not ridden a bike since i was in my teens and everything seems different except for a couple of wheels and pedals. And dont even get me started on crud catchers. It's not worth getting the car out, so I just cycle in every day. It only takes 5 mins and i'm getting a bit of excercise! In fact it's given me a taste for it again and I want to go out on some longer rides again :-)
stevie_b
Have a look here: http://www.cyclechat.net/topic/70965-advice-on-bike-lights-for-seeing-in-the-dark/page__st__30__gopid__1441533#entry1441533 They don't have to be expensive: Cree LED systems are well-thought-of. neilp9876
Magicshine are fantastic, about £60 but they are the same as £300 lupine's.
