Na rich running with misfire and won't idle

Hi all I'm posting here as I'm now running out ideas lol I was out driving and the car was running sweet, just some motorway driving and on the way home I noticed if I backed off the go pedal there was serious deceleration, came off at the roundabout and it just died at the lights! Took a min of cranking to start her again and had to hold her above 2500rpm to keep running and there was a definite power loss above that

Over the following days I've checked the O2 sensors both failed the voltage checks so I replaced them, took all the plugs out and they were thick black and the pistons are black aswell (plugs are iridiums 10000 miles old) while plugs were being done I did compression check and all were between 168 and 175 psi so all Is good there.

Forgot to mention the oil is clean so from this I can't see any problems with the block or gasket

There are no codes stored and no lights coming on (yes they all work lol)

Rotor arm and dizzy cap are new and all Ht leads are good

Cam tdc points still line up correctly

When it's running (with throttle held open) light black smoke comes out the exhaust with specks of fuel coming out (and a stink of fuel) which I'm sure is the cause of all my probs but any ideas where to go next?

I've read on some supra forums if an na is running silly rich it's normally the ecu an anyone here confirm this?

All and any help really appreciated with this :)

Sorry to hear you're having problems mate! Hope you can get it sorted easily? Might be worth trying another ECU to rule that out, hopeful someone has a spare one that you can borrow? :)

Thanks mate fingers crossed someone here can shed some light, a donor manual ecu would be great just to diagnose the problem lol
