Sheefa
Hi all Bought second hand a few months ago, ran flawlessly without smoke/excessive fuel burn. Approx 10 times of cutting grass. It ran out of fuel and I have now re-filled. Started really spluttering and smoke was quite excessive, just wasn't her normal self. Turn off and checked tank and re-primed, same issue. Then suddenly started running perfectly again for about 30 secs before cutting out. Inspected tank and completely empty despite filling it to top. This tank would normally do 5-6 full grass cuts front and back. A full tank only just managed the back garden this time. Seems odd when it's nearly at empty she runs brilliantly again. Any ideas guys? Cheers Greg

tomgeer
If you've had it tilted to one side or turned upside down for any reason they smoke like b*stards for about 2-5 minutes, just keep it running and see if it settles down.
