Can somebody help me identify the location of the engine block coolant drain plug ?

Hi,

I love DIY so after changing the oil and filters myself, i decided to go for the coolant as well. Problem is I cannot find the engine block coolant drain plug. I've looked and looked and cannot find anything resembling the drain plug, union pipe or rubber hose featured in this picture... Can anyone help with a more clearer location ? I mean it's on the left side of the engine ( driver's side on RHD cars), it's in the mid, lower part of the engine? It's under the shield ? Engine is a 2JZ-GE.

Thanks

rear of engine left hand side i believe

In the picture i can see the area where the gearbox mounts to the engine, i've looked in that area and there is absolutely nothing. Is the plug only visible\accessible from under the car ? If so that is my problem ...

I got to it no bother from underneath. Didn't even try from above to be honest, not even sure if you can see it.

I see. Not a very big fan of working under a jacked up car but seems i have to do it from under. Cheers mate.

Little update on this. I managed eventually to get to the block drain bolt from above, seems easier this way ! To my surprise, or not, my car takes less coolant than it should ! I hardly managed to get 6L of coolant into the system. The manuals states that over 8 ltrs are needed. But so the manual states that 6L of oil are needed for an oil change but my Supra takes only about 4.8L.. Anyway the heaters are blowing hot air, temperature gauge is normal guess i did a good job. I'll keep an eye on the coolant level just in case, knowing i put 2L less coolant.
