JamieP
Me and Ryan was having a bit of fun in the cars today, he let me have a drive and oh my, what a car, very fast and the boost is insant no matter what gear you are in, most responsive car i have ever driven, its a far better drive than any similar power 2jz i have driven. Supra-Brett
starting with an N/A as a base car (i.e engine swap is required on both options i list) How much would a turbo`d V8 cost in comparison to a singled 2JZ? reason i ask is that these V8s seem cheap compared to a TT lump (at the moment until everyone jumps on the bandwagon). is the turboing bit comparable costs to singling a 2JZ? Unless you are doing the work yourself, a lot of money to build one imo. To start with you have to get the engine in and running, then the expense of going manual, as the soarer/ls box wont take TT v8 power, adaptors plates, clutch, etc. Basic single conversion on a 2jz is 10k plus, be similar on a V8, maybe more depending on what you get charged for the manifold work. Ta, similar then lower engine costs offset by other things.
