Guest Ruby Red
Hi guys and gals I am new to the site, but not new to Supras. I have a MK3 turbo that I have owned for the last 6 years and have had various Celicas / Celica Supras. I also currently own an L plate Skyline R33 GTS-T, but have got the chance to swap it for an M plate black Supra JZ (non-turbo). Now while I know the MK3 inside out and all of its related problems, I know hardly anything about the MK4. If someone can help I would like to know the spec, i.e BHP, 0-60, any problems that I should look for. While I like the performance of the Skyline, it doesn't have the visual appeal of the Supra. Does a straight swap seem a feasible option? I paid £5000 for the Skyline and the Supra is up for the same price, but while the Skyline is totally standard the Supra has a set of Volks wheels and a stainless exhaust. I haven't driven it yet but plan to do so in the next day or so. Thanks for any help you may be able to give.
Pete
Sounds like a fair swap to me. You may find the performance down a bit though. Don't know much about GTS-Ts myself.
