Chris Wilson
I have spoken to Simon on the phone and given him some local recovery firm numbers, but he has wangled an AA recovery now on a relative's policy Bloody alarms, how I hate the things. Chris Wilson
Thank you guys deffo think it's the alarm the engine started turning over with no key in it WTF. Didn't realize that Simon, sounds more like an ignition switch fault, to be honest.
bobapple
Hey Chris thanks for your help, AA guy couldn't do anything now waiting for another fellow to toe me home, only tried to turn over by itself once, but now you say it that alarm is acting like their is a key in it as said it is not beeping after trying to start, and it does this when there is a key in the ignition it will lock the doors but not arm the alarm, does anyone know any good auto electricians or alarm fitters that are mobile near Bolton, and how much are Ignition switches sorry for the 20 questions. Again many thanks Si.

bobapple
Thanks everybody Supra is home safe, I had a thought on that ghost turnover on the ignition the alarm that's fitted once had that keyless start until the previous owner left it in gear and bumped someone in front so he disconnected it possibly not well enough, but I deffo think it's the alarm as the full closure doesn't work anymore or the little l.e.d inside the car don't flash no more indicating the imobiliser. For anyone in the know on alarms it's a autowatch model 160 rli/t. Neil you have pm. Again many thanks.
Chris Wilson
If it doesn't invalidate your insurance I'd remove the thing and put it back to stock without an alarm at all for a while and see what issues disappear..
