MaveriK
Excellent choice I charge it either everyday or day and a half. I do use email and internet quite a lot...oh and sat nav app. This doesn't bother me in the slightest though. Ok...I'm on my 3rd case now. The first one was an impulse buy. It was cheap but very bendy and kept coming off the phone. This is because it preferred sticking to my trouser pocket. The second case was also cheap but mega slimline, which is in keeping with its dimensions. After 2 months it started to break. My 3rd choice is arriving in the post. Google Case Mate's "Barely there" model. Amazon do it for approx 13 golden coins. Dial-a-phone and Phones-4-u were ganging up on me so i buckled and order it yesterday. Have ordered a couple of "genuine" Samsung mesh cases from Flea-Bay, they are winging their way from the far east as i type. Looking forward to fiddling with it now

MaveriK
Pah, why have FM when you can have DAB. *shakes fist and wanders off*
Scott
The only way you will get digital on the phone is by streaming the radio station to your phone via the net. Fairly easy to do, there are loads of links on the net to the stations you choose. There might even be an app with them all in the one place, I've never looked though as it's not something I've wanted. If you do find it be aware you will need to have a reasonable 3G signal and a decent data-plan if you listen a lot

SupraDan24
Is anyone else having problems running games on they're SII's? First week i had mine it was fine, i tried a load of free games with no problems. The last 2 weeks i've been offshore though the games freeze alot, sometimes after 15-20mins, sometimes after as little as 2-3minutes. I've tried closing down all the backround programs to free up the RAM but it still freezes. May have to take it back to the shop when i get home. MaveriK
Ok, getting into this now and i am very impressed thus far. Just trawling through some documentation but am sure someone will know here off the top of their head. If the device can see a wireless connection and a 3g connection which will it default to? Thorin
If it's connected to a wireless network, it will use that.

Lbm
When I'm at home or in a public wifi place I tend to turn on wifi. Anywhere else or if I'm on the move, I'll use 3G. If I don't need to connect I'll keep it switched off.

Paul R
Don't forget to buy one of these, of you decide to debrand it and stick a custom rom on it: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-S2-S1-USB-Jig-/150672638860?pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL&hash=item2314ca038c

Scott
I wouldn't bother with it to be honest. I've rooted every HTC I've had prior to the Galaxy but I honestly haven't found any reason to do it with the SII. The main reason for me rooting was so that I could play with wifi (Ie tethering etc) but it's all built in so there's really no need. It's lightening quick so other than a "look how many clocks my CPU can get" flash there really is no point IMO.

Paul R
Another good reason to root your phone is so you can block ads in apps.

That was one of the main reasons for me too... previously. I guess I got lucky with T-Mobile as I don't seem to have any guff at all The original galaxy was meant to be a bit bloated from Samsung but they seem to have really toned it down.
