Jellybean
What do you reckon is the best? A small business website, not too time consuming easy to get up and running but looks good. Photos, video's and social network integration is fairly easy Wordpress Joomla http://www.joomla.org/about-joomla.html Adobe Dreamweaver? Microsoft? or none of the above? Attero
Joomla might be your best bet. Although I don't know enough about it, I hear it's quite good for most needs. I wouldn't bother going near development tools (Dreamweaver, Frontpage, etc). They are nothing but trouble from customer experiences. Something to look into would be cloud tools. This was only a quick search, but maybe something like moonfruit.com can provide you with a decent site? Or you could get a developer to do the dirty work. Thorin
Joomla used to be the one I would have recommended, either that or Drupal. Since then however, Drupal has got worse, and Wordpress has caught up. I'm looking at using http://ocportal.com/start.htm at the moment, running a couple of trials and I think it's got the best bits of all of them. Social networking side of things is a big part of it. I am the Developer ha ha I normally use MS Asp.net but $ for the hours you spend is not cost effective; just looking into the other tools, why spend hours fiddling around with positioning , layout when 1001 templates are free. hemmjonny
Dreamweaver is very good, and if you know a student can be picked up for about £90.
