sdistc
Pretty poor game-plan, I think... Haye was never going to win a points decision in Germany. In my opinion, he had to emulate Tyson and get inside as quick as possible in order to win - otherwise he was going to get jabbed all night. Scott
It could have been in Haye's living room and he wouldn't have got the decision to be fair. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but the fight showed that Haye's 1 chance was a KO. He was still looking dangerous when he turned it on in the later rounds but with the decision looming the fight was only ever going 1 way. He got a boxing lesson there, as the commentators said Klitscho's gameplan was spot on and he had a great fight. Haye wasn't allowed to box the way he likes to so his power was stiffled a little, when he got out the traps he looked dangerous but didn't do it often enough. Enjoyed the fight though, good entertaining boxing. I honestly wasn't expecting it given Klitschos previous fights. Roll on the UFC
Supra-Brett
Simply put, Klitschko is a large tall natural heavyweight. Haye is a crusier weight. Haye is good but Klitschco is so big and has such a good reach + speed, so its almost like they should be in 2 different weight classes. Haye had to jump to get anywhere near him. Haye showed how good he is by doing the 12 rounds against a phsically bigger but just as fit opponant

Yeah Haye did well as a cruiser weight but he is now a heavyweight, and if truth be told a damn good one. Noone was moaning about the weight/size/height difference when he took on Valuev. Leave the excuses out, the guy got beat by the better man on the night.
Swampy442
Still sulking as I couldnt watch it But the points scores say it all. Haye's only chance was to get amongst it in the early rounds and he failed to do that

Haye's only chance was to get amongst it in the early rounds and he failed to do that I didn't notice till after the fight. I was watching it online, it broke up a few times but I found 1 that got me 90% of the fight without any trouble
Havard
Got to hand it to Klitcshco. Boxed well and kept Haye at a distance where he was ineffective. The standing count was a joke but Haye was going down too easy and eventually upset the referee who punished him. I really wanted Haye to win but Klitschco had been a gentleman throughout the build up and it was difficult to fault his approach. H. Yeah same here but Haye just wouldn't shut up. I know its all part of the glamour but Klitscho was a gentleman right to the very end where he embraced Haye. I wonder what Haye would have done had he won?
Ricky49
Very disappointed with the fight. Haye let himself down and was out boxed. Klitschko is like a machine he was up and ready on the bell after every round, he had a lot more support than I thought he would. The stadium erupted when he came out. Still had a crazy weekend in Hamburg but not looking forward to the 12hour home in the car.

imi
Haye showed how good he is by doing the 12 rounds against a phsically bigger but just as fit opponant By running around to avoid him. Despite being humiliated he still won't shut up....

Ricky49
Rubbish talk deserved every bit , funny how he is still carrying on making excuses and still talking rubbish in his current interviews. he was doing that straight after the fight in an interview. Saying he hurt his right leg in training. Haye needs to man up and admit he was beaten by a better boxer.
