Misting UK Headlights (glass removeal)

My headlights keep misting up when it rains or when i wash the car.

Can you remove the glass in the same way as the jspec ones or are they sealed differently.

Is the seal around the edge a pressure seal ie, the tighter you do the lights up the better the seal.

I wouldnt mind taking them apart as some of the silver inside is going yellow and could do with touching up, just worried about cracking the glass.

Anyone had the same prob?

Cheers

Sorry to hear that, think il probably still do the same and just keep my fingers crossed they end up better. I was mainly concerned about cracking the glass putting them in the oven, but if yours were ok then il give it a go.

Have you recently chabged the bulbs?. If theyre not seated properly or the seal has perished / cracked, when you turn the lights on the hot bulbs draw in moisture. I had the same problem and just reseated the bulbs.

I had the same problem, so I put them in the oven. I cleaned them up and resealed them. They're now worse than before I done it! :dontget:

LOL. Can't be as bad as mine. I only did the one and touching up the yellow areas means I have two differently coloured headlights (one standard and one with silver flakes).

Just waiting for an 8 hour dry day, when I'm free to do them both again properly!!!
