Kalel
i have a hybrid turbo for anyone whos after a single conversion. this turbo comes with the full housing ready to ready to go. this has come off my prelude (which had a single turbo) currently downgrading turbo as this is too big and only kicks in at 5k rpm, going for a smaller turbo which would suit the prelude that will kick in earlier and not destroy my pistons. turbo was fitted onto the car about a year and a half ago, covered approx 26k miles. was considering transfering it over to my supra but ive had to sell the supra and didnt want to give the turbo away with it. the serials been worn off. but its as follows if you read it closly: t-???75 its the: HP-70 68 turbine unit housed in a T4 housing with ceramic ball bearing system. it has a marum shaft (ANTI LAG) which i know makes it easily worth more than £1k im after a quick sale so im open to reasonable offers. http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/6752/image3kz.th.jpg http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/4713/imagevd.th.jpg http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/7408/image4wb.th.jpg any questions or offers please email me: [email protected]
Thorin
Anyone else thinking that looks small? It's certainly not what I'd describe as "HUGE". And why is the shaft sad?

Kalel
Hey, sorry that's pretty big in my opinion. Capable upto 600-700bhp. I'm fitting a t3/t4 with billet compressor wheel. Which should suit fine for the Lude with stock internals
Scott
I came into the thread wondering if it would be too big for what I have planned given the title, bit of a shock to see that piddly little thing

bigbloodyturbo
Your lude won't last long on stock internals. Your piston ring lands will start to crack and it'll pop evetually. Not a huge problem if your staying at 7psi as H22's are cheap and easy to swap. But dont believe it will last and last as it wont without astleast using forged pistons, and you cant use forged pistons on an unmodified H22... Kalel
Yep that, with ceramic bearings option and MALUM shaft for antilag. It's the hp-70 as said in post

So I've been told, but a smaller turbo will be maintainable? Right? The preludes in good hands at the moment. I'm sure it'll come out fine. I'm sorry if I've suggested something that isn't true but my honest opinion this turbo isn't small. Anyway if interested I'm open on offers
Scott
Definitely not small mate, it should make good power on a Supra. It's just because of the way the pictures have came out
